I’ve always been a square peg in a round hole. My personality doesn’t lend itself to the corporate world, nor does it lend itself to a nine to five. I’m all about creative ventures and fulfilling passions. At 19 years old I had been through my 10th (yes, you read that right) job in two years and my Mom saw an opportunity for me at my Dad’s company.

My Dad had taken over my Grandfather’s business, my Mom subsequently went to work with him, and their bookkeeper had just left the position. My Mom sat me down and said “I’ll let you come work for me and learn this skill but you have to promise me you’ll work here for one year”. My stomach dropped at the thought of staying anywhere for a year. I was too unfettered! I was too whimsical! I reluctantly agreed and started my first day in March 2005.

Not only did I stay for a year, I am still there 16 years later. I have come to truly love the art of clean books and the pride of making my clients happy.

Over the years I’ve taken on many different companies’ books and have a healthy amount of experience. I’ve worked on a wide variety of company types and I’ve always been drawn to other artists and creators. This is how I found my specialty: creative entrepreneurs. I like to think of myself as the balance to an inspired mindset. While you’re off making magic, I’m behind the scenes making sure your company’s books run as smoothly as possible.

I meet all of your deadlines, I file all of your paperwork, I reconcile all of your accounts. I alert you when your attention is needed and until then, you have the freedom to explore and actualize your art while you let go of the worry that your books can cause.
